Interludes, nothing for nothing

Interludes / Intruders, intermediate
English Word of inter- and Latin ludus "game".

This video consists of 34 clips of duration from a few seconds to a few minutes. Each clip ends in a proverb-title quoted like a received truth or an typical example, taken as "a Formula" (pretentious and banal sentence) presenting stable formal features, often metaphorical or figurative and expressing an experimental truth or practical advice of popular wisdom.
The proverb is to be regarded as a ersatz of life, a ersatz of thought... an angular stone of the lie edifice, a prefabricated breathing... ready made "Formula" - thus somewhat concise -, an anachronistic way to restore any shape of thought & act.
However a meaning is ineluctably given there. A journey from tip to tip...
Each clip contains its batch of escape drafts, of (un-)controlled skids, of jubilant effects, while maintaining some calculated reserve...
This work is systematically taken in porte-à-faux between a certain reality and a certain fiction, characteristic of our personal leitmotiv "Critical-Clinical-Ludic".
The whole is perceived as closed cells, Interludes-labyrinth between "Aspect-Reference-Affect".
