- Different modes of screening

La Vidéothèque Nomade is an eclectic collection of atypical short films from all over the world, with genres covering animation, artists’ films, dance, documentary, experimental, fiction, music video and video art.

Since 2008, the catalogue has been offering a wide selection of unconventional works that place emphasis on sound, narrative and/or visual experimentations.

It comprises a series of collaborative short films created in workshops, self-produced & DIY films, as well as the works of more established directors.

You can discover this collection by attending one of our activities : public screenings, individual sessions, collaborative workshops...

The project allows an encounter between works, artists and audiences – creating dialogue and exchange around the ‘film object’. It is aimed at adult and young audiences with specific activities designed for the latter.

This is a mobile project: screenings are organised in a variety of venues (libraries, cafés, cinemas, art and community centres, galleries, bookshops, etc.), in Belgium or abroad.

La Vidéothèque Nomade is an open invitation to travel across astonishing and singular film worlds.
