My work is guided by a need to hear, and see other people.
I like to use video to create portraits of women who touch on the extraordinary by leading completely ordinary lives. In my work, I especially focus on their willingness to overcome painful life experiences.
I choose to concentrate on their daily lives and their present conditions. I want to capture and show individual women rather than just their painful past stories.
I love the women I shoot.

With the film Le Dernier mot, I try to reflect on language by placing the other at the center of my work.
In this video, I chose five women that had had an experience of death, each one of them in a different way. _ This film focuses on difficulties to speak about painful events, any possible taboos, and nameless events. _ Their stories open a world very close to our own, which, I believe, we do not ordinarily perceive, refuse to hear or cannot express.
More than death, this film is about life. The women in it passed through certain events and chose to exist.
