- an alternative mode of screening
- an eclectic film catalogue
- an itinerant project

The project aspires to encourage screening and promotion of contemporary video creations through establishing a catalogue.

La Vidéothèque Nomade is an eclectic catalogue of Belgian and foreign artists’ films screened during regular meetings organised in Brussels, Belgium and abroad.
Because it is a nomadic project, the meetings take place in unusual spaces like apartments or gardens, but also in more traditional locations: cinemas, galleries, etc.
To see the films, we propose two modes of screening:
- on demand (à la carte) consultation (hereby the entire catalogue is made accesible to the public).
- thematic or other screenings, based on titles from the catalogue.

La Vidéothèque Nomade’s meetings aim to create collective and social screenings, and to facilitate the circulation of works.
They open spaces to discover, think, meet and discuss.
