an alternative mode of screening
an eclectic film catalogue
an itinerant project
The project aspires to encourage screening and promotion of contemporary video creations through establishing a catalogue.
The Nomadic Video Library is an eclectic catalogue of Belgian and foreign artists’ films screened during regular meetings organised in Brussels, Belgium and abroad.
Because it is a nomadic project, the meetings take place in unusual spaces like apartments or gardens, but also in more traditional locations: cinemas, galleries, etc.
To see the films, we propose two modes of screening:
open source "à la carte" consultation (hereby the entire catalogue is made accesible to the public).
thematic or other screenings, based on titles from the catalogue.
Nomadic Video Library meetings aim to create collective and social screenings, and to facilitate the circulation of works. They open spaces to discover, think, meet and discuss.
Concretely!
To discover more about dates of next meetings of the Nomadic video library, check the ’news-event’ part of the site.
To prepare your session, check the databases "Films" or "Authors".
